Council crews have been busy replacing a big failing drainage pipe (culvert) under the road.
George Bass Drive has now been reopened to northbound traffic - but those heading south will be diverted via Beach Road.
The project should be finished by mid-September and will be followed by two more road culvert works – on Beach Road at Wimbie Creek and later, on George Bass Drive near Carramar Drive.
