Motorists are advised changed traffic conditions will be in place from next Monday for geotechnical work on the Princes Highway near Batemans Bay Bridge.

The work will take place between North Street on the southern side of the Bridge and on the Kings and Princes Highways on the northern side to assist with planning the replacement Batemans Bay Bridge.

Roads and Maritime Services will start work from Monday 6 November between 7am and 6pm on weekdays and 8am and 1pm on Saturdays. The work is expected to take three weeks, weather permitting.

For the safety of workers and motorists, temporary lane closures will be in place during work hours from Thursday 16 November.

Motorists are advised to follow the directions of traffic control and signs.

Roads and Maritime thank the community for their patience while work is carried out.
