Following Durras Community Association discussions with both Council and the local Member for Bega, Andrew Constance MP, Andrew announced at the Durras Community Association AGM that the NSW Government would provide $7,500 to cover the remaining costs of completing Stage 2 of the Durras Headland Footpath (bridge to blackboard).
The Durras Community Association has committed to contributing the other $7,500 to the project from previous fundraising.

The boat ramp off Lakeside Drive, South Durras will be closed from Monday 25 February to Friday 1 March 2019 to allow the ramp to be extended. The work is part of the project to formalise the parking area with the provision of kerb and gutter, a new footpath, road surfacing and improved drainage.

The Durras Headland Pathway and Pavers update
Please note that only 50% of the pathway has been completed to date.
The remaining unused pavers which have been purchased are currently being safely stored in Durras. Council have advised they have now received all required approvals and the works on the new public toilet at Durras Lake are commencing onsite.
The contractors have installed temporary fencing and the actual onsite construction staff will commence next week.
