Social bowls Tuesday 22 November
Another good day for social bowls last Tuesday when we had two games of triples and a
game of pairs.
It was lovely to welcome Leila Gosper back to bowls again, following a long break.
President Gail Palmer congratulated Leila on her 25 years' membership of Narooma
Women's Bowling Club and presented her with a special Certificate to mark the occasion.
On the green the jack was placed on a washer, to be replaced if disturbed and the owner
of the 'toucher' received a 'gold chocolate coin'. Pam Grant was in fine form in her game,
managing to accumulate five coins and contributing to a good win for her team.
The day's winners, decided by the team with the highest number of shots on the 11 th end,
were Pam Grant, Gail Palmer and Sue Wales (skip), with a score of four shots, picked up
the money.
Leila was the lucky winner of the meat raffle with thanks to Rapley and Son Plaza
Butchers.
