Changed Traffic Conditions On Kings Highway At Nelligen

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Kings Highway at Nelligen next week to complete pedestrian safety upgrades after wet weather delayed work scheduled for early June.

Three new kerb ramps, a pedestrian refuge, new footpath and improved street lighting will be installed 150 metres west of Reid Street.

Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm from Monday 1 July for three days, weather permitting.

Changed traffic conditions including partial lane closures, stop/slow traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to allow up to 10 minutes additional travel time during work hours and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
