BREAK & ENTER - Crooks target Batehaven, Sunshine Bay and Catalina

South Coast Police District (SCPD) are currently investigating an increase in break and enter offences in the suburbs surrounding Batemans Bay.

Unknown offender/s have been targeting homes around Batehaven, Sunshine Bay and Catalina. The offences have occurred overnight, with thieves taking off with small personal items such as wallets and handbags.

SCPD Police are continuing their investigations and have increased their nightly patrols of the area in response to these reports.

Residents are urged to make sure their houses are locked and secured overnight and keep all valuables out of sight.

Police are asking anyone with information in relation to these incidents to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page

Alternatively please call your local police station. Information you provide will be treated in the strictest of confidence. Police remind people they should not report crime information via their Facebook and Twitter pages
