ANZAC Day Commemorations



Batemans Bay

5:45am: Assembly at the Honour Stone, the Foreshore, Clyde Street. Dawn Service at the Honour Stone. Breakfast at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club. 10:00am: Muster at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club 10:20am: March to the Honour Stone. 10:45am: ANZAC Commemoration Service at the Honour Stone. 12:15pm: Anzac Wall walk at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club 12:30 pm: Luncheon for current and ex-Service Personnel and Partners.

Bergalia

9:00am: ANZAC Service at the War Memorial in Bergalia Link Road.

Central Tilba

10:45am: March assembles outside Dromedary Hotel on Bate Street. 10:55am: March to Cenotaph. 11:00am: Commemoration Service at the Cenotaph, corner of Corkhill Drive and Bate Street. Following the Service, tea will be available in the Hall.

Moruya

5:45am: Dawn Service at the War Memorial, RSL Memorial Hall, 11 Page Street. 11:00am: March falls in at the rear of the Adelaide Hotel to the Memorial Hall, 11 Page Street. 11:30am: March to the RLS Memorial Hall followed by ANZAC Commemoration Service and Wreath Laying. 12:30pm Luncheon for Ex-service men and women and invited guests in the Memorial Hall.

Narooma

5:55am: Dawn Service at the War Memorial at Club Narooma, 88 Princes Highway. 11:00am: March forms at the Narooma Visitors Information Centre, corner Princes Highway and Bluewater Drive and steps off to the War Memorial at Club Narooma. 11:30am: ANZAC Service and Wreath Laying at the War Memorial. 12:30pm: A special luncheon will be on sale at Club Narooma after the Service for ex-Service Personnel and the public.

Nelligen

10:50am: Assembly at the Mechanics Institute Hall, Braidwood Street for March. To the Cenotaph. 11:00am: ANZAC Commemoration Service at the Cenotaph. After the Service, a free two-course luncheon and drinks will be served to all ex-Service Personnel attending, in the Mechanics Institute Hall, courtesy of the Nelligen Ex-Servicemen & Friends Association. An invitation is extended to family, friends and residents to join the post-commemorative march luncheon ($20 per head, concession offered for families with younger children).

Tomakin

6:00am: Coffee and rum for current and ex-Service Personnel at the Tomakin Sports and Social Club 6:45am: Muster at the Rivermouth General Store, cnr Sunpatch and Kingston Parades 7:00 am: March to Tomakin Sports and Social Club. A Pipe band and Navy personnel will be in attendance. 7:15am ANZAC Day Commemoration Service 7:30am Breakfast is provided to all the Marchers by the Tomakin Sports and Social Club. Members of the public are welcome to purchase their breakfast.

Tuross Head

5:30am: Dawn Service at the Memorial Gardens, Plantation Point. 11:00am: March from Birdwood Circle to the Tuross Head Country Club, 40 Monash Avenue. 11:15am: ANZAC Service at the Tuross Head Country Club. Note: All times and venues have been supplied by various RSL Sub-branch officials. Care has been taken to ensure as many Electorate services as possible have been included and were correct at the time of publication. For verification of other services, please contact your local RSL sub-branch.

Moruya Cemetery and Broulee Crematorium

Australian flags will be flown over the graves and ashes of deceased ex-Servicemen and Women from before until after Anzac Day. These flags will be placed at these sites at the request of relatives. If your relative was an ex-Service Person and you wish to have a flag placed at their resting place in Moruya or Broulee, please contact Kevin Setter on 4474 3513.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
