South Coast Police District report:
CAR V TRUCK - North Batemans Bay
Heavy traffic delays on the Princes Hwy today due to a collision between a car and truck.
Reports that the car had veered into the path of the truck causing the truck driver to take evasive action, swerving and running the truck off the road.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital for observations, the truck driver was shocked but uninjured. Police managed the traffic by keeping one lane open until the vehicle was able to be removed.
Batemans Bay police would like to thank the members of the public who stopped and assisted at the scene as well commuters who were patient throughout the traffic delays.
