Accident on Beach Road causes lunch time congestion

South Coast Police District report:

Motor Vehicle Accident - Beach Rd Batemans Bay

A bit of traffic congestion around lunch time today after an accident between two cars occurred at the intersection of Herarde and Beach Rd Batemans Bay.

A male driver of a white Corolla failed to turn right safely onto Beach road causing the male driver of a red Hilux to swerve, mounting the gutter, colliding into a fence, through a flower bed and cement driveway, eventually bringing down a large motel sign.

Emergency services were at the scene for some time which cause traffic delay however, Police are happy to report all occupants of the vehicles were all OK.



NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
