Disability Inclusion Advisory Committee members sought

Eurobodalla Council is calling for expressions of interest from people who have a disability, specialist knowledge or interest in disability issues to represent the community on its Disability Inclusion Advisory Committee.

The committee helps Council review and identify disability access and equity issues and helps with the implementation of Council’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan.

Members have the important role of engaging and representing their community to make sure Council understands the issues that are important. They must be willing to attend four meetings a year at Council’s customer service Centre in Moruya and transport to meetings can be provided.

For more information, or to express interest, visit Council’s website www.esc.nsw.gov.au/haveyoursay and click on the link ‘Disability Inclusion Advisory Committee’.

Alternatively phone Council’s Bev Nicholson on 02 4474 1264 or email council @esc.nsw.gov.au

Expressions of interest close on Wednesday 27 March 2019.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
