National Pet Adoption Day was alive and well in Batemans Bay

National Pet Adoption Day was alive and well in Batemans Bay last Saturday, with Petstock hosting the local branches of both RSPCA and Animal Welfare League.

Visitors came almost non-stop to see RSPCA’s available animals, and they had plenty of choice: 10 kittens, 2 adult cats and one gorgeous puppy were all there waiting for their forever homes. The day was hugely successful, with kittens Edwin, Elsie and Whisper being adopted, along with cats Nelson and Ozzie, as well as Lexi, the Jack Russell/Staffy cross.

The remaining kittens can be seen on RSPCA Eurobodalla’s Facebook page.

A big thanks is due to Petstock for helping RSPCA find homes for these animals.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
