Simon Lauder of ABC South East caught up with Brian Brown, Managing Director of Global Lifestyle Developments, discussing the Coach House project proposed for Batemans Bay
The Estuary – Batemans Bay is described as an over 55 gated community with luxurious apartments with large balconies, basement parking and breathtaking views featuring a café, restaurant and exceptional community facilities with a rooftop pool and BBQ area.
The website for the project describes it as a master planned waterfront community development just south of the CBD of Batemans Bay. "This development is located at the mouth of the Clyde River and adjacent to Corrigans Beach. Its opposite the Catalina Golf Club and is only minutes from the central business district of Batemans Bay. Whether you fish, surf, swim, golf or just enjoy a casual stroll this development has it all." the website says. Proposed are 128 x 2 & 3 Residential apartments with easy access to the bay and beach that come with basement parking and large balconies with views over the Clyde River and out to sea. Additionally it is planned to provide a 150 bed Aged Care facility to meet the growing demand within the Eurobodalla Shire as well as a Wellness Centre providing exercise facilities, dietary assistance, medical centre and chemist. The proposed waterfront boardwalk around The Estuary from Beach Road to the break-wall will provide access for residents and visitors of Batemans Bay to a complete walkway to Corrigans Beach and Hanging Rock providing an alternative entry to The Estuary’s Waterfront Restaurant and Café which is proposed to be open to the public.
