Beat The Heat And Visit The Sth Coast Pastel Exhibition At The Surf Club & Great Free Kids Activities From 22 January Until 29th January, 2019

2019 is heating up with a full calendar of events already planned by the Committee for it’s Society members and beginners workshops.

Traditionally January is the 1st of the pastel art exhibitions and promises to be another wonderful display of artist’s works not only in pastel but in some other mediums. The bulk is however pastel art and showcases not only diversity of genres but the talents of our members. Framed and unframed works along with a range of cards will be for sale from January 22, 12 noon.

As part of the exhibition at the Batemans Bay Surf Lifesaving Club, George Bass Drive, Malua Bay, Friday 25th January from 10am until 12 noon a kid’s art activity morning is being held. All children are welcome to create a wonderful art piece either on the pavement or on paper depending on the weather and can drop in at any time during the activity. Under age 6 children need to be accompanied by an adult and children should wear old clothes.

The exhibition opens on Tuesday January 22 from 12 noon and then continues daily until Tuesday 29th January. Open daily from 10 am until 4 pm, expect on the final day the exhibition closes at 2 pm. Entry by gold coin donation, all proceeds go to the Surf Club.

Visitors and locals are invited to step into the Surf Club to view the works and hopefully find an art work to take home.
