Roadside rescue readiness

How did you spend your weekend?

Some of the NSW SES Batemans Bay Unit volunteers spent Saturday morning undertaking to #RoadCrashRescue training. The unit regularly undertakes training in various disciplines to keep their skills up to scratch and to learn new techniques.

The unit reports that on this occasion they practised inverted side removals, inverted ramming and a floor pan fold.

"It was a hot morning, however we all learnt new things and had great fun."

The unit extends HUGE thanks to Croakers Towing Batemans Bay for their fantastic support supplying cars saying "Cars that have been involved in accidents provide an extra level of realism that is difficult to get in a training environment."

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
