Over the summer and on long weekends there are often "private" fireworks displays taking place locally (usually on a beach somewhere). Most, if not all, of these are illegal however there is a website where you can check
All displays in NSW require a WorkCover notification. If it's not listed on this website it's not legal. As Wile E. Coyote can attest, fireworks are dangerous and when handled inappropriately deadly.
