Creative Arts Batemans Bay Inc.  Annual Exhibition and Sale Boxing Day to Jan 13th


The Annual Exhibition and Sale of Creative Arts Batemans Bay Inc. members works will begin at The Batemans Bay High School on Boxing Day and continue daily until Sunday January 13.

Works will be on display and for sale from 10am til 4pm daily except for Sunday January 13, when it will close at 2pm. Thursday December 27 there will be a “meet the artists and exhibition opening” from 6pm and members of the public are welcome to attend, drinks and refreshments will be provided.

On display will be the normal variety and quality of Paintings, Textile Art, Sculpture and Craft. Paintings will include all mediums from Acrylic to Watercolour and all subjects from Portraits to Still Life. The display of Textlie Art includes sculptural weavings and wearable textiles. Sculptors exhibiting have used timber, metal and hebel and our Craft Artists include Glass Artists, Jewellers, Wood turners, Resin and Fluid Artists. Of course there is a great array of hand made greeting cards for sale.

This years “January Exhibition” is not our regular “Judged Exhibition” but visitors will, as usual, be able to cast their vote in the “Viewer's Choice Award”

Come along and enjoy the creative works of CABBI members at the high school from Wednesday December 26 to Saturday January 12 from 10am till 4pm or Thursday December 27 from 6pm and Sunday January 13 10am till 2pm.

People interested in finding out more about CABBI, a society open to local arts and crafts practitioners, should drop in to The Gallery (2/52 Princes Highway MOGO) or phone 02 4474 2243.


NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
