Muddy Puddles: Driving positive partnerships

Transport is often a barrier for families to access services in the Eurobodalla. When Muddy Puddles recognised the need for a vehicle to help them provide therapy services throughout the Shire, they approached Allan Rutherford, Dealer Principal of Coastal Auto Group Pty Ltd. Cate McMath, CEO of Muddy Puddles said “Allan was very receptive to our needs as an organisation and provided a sizable donation towards the cost of a multi-use vehicle. The Hyundai 8-seater van will allow us to transport children and families and will also provide more opportunities to deliver programs and services in the community.”

Delivering better outcomes for the community: Cate McMath, CEO of Muddy Puddles, with Allan Rutherford and Leigh Morley of Coastal Auto Group Pty Ltd.

“We are very fortunate to have Allan’s support. In addition to assisting us with a van, Coastal Auto Group is donating $100 to Muddy Puddles from the sale of every new vehicle sold,” says Cate McMath.

Allan Rutherford recognises the value of the work Muddy Puddles is doing. Allan said “As a successful local business it is important to give back to the local community. I’ve seen first hand the support required for the families of children with a disability. Early intervention and ongoing support can make such a difference to the quality of life for families.” A great outcome for the families of children with a disability in the Eurobodalla. EDITORS NOTE: There is a terrific Muddy Puddles Fundraiser event presenting Rod Toovey and his show "Jukebox hits from heaven" at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club. Rod Toovey is a superb singer/guitarist who pays tribute to Elvis Presley, one of the greatest performers of all time. Rod is now based in Tasmania and takes his show to all regions of Australia
