Rugby Representative Player of the Year 2018


South Coast Rugby Union recently named James Bell as their Representative Player of the Year 2018.

James Bell was again a consistent strong performer for all rep games in addition to his Club game performance. James player Hooker for South Coast against Monaro were he was a standout to be an automatic selection in the South Coast Monaro team to play Southern Inland at Wagga. In the game at Wagga the team lost by in a tight game but again, James was very solid and gained the eys of selectors and earnt selection into the Brumbies Provincial Team to play NSW Country. Playing the entire game at hooker, James performance was outstanding pushing NSW Country all the way to only lose by 10 points.

James Bell commenced his Rugby as junior for the local Batemans Bay Boars. He later moved to Canberra for work and linked with the strong Wests Rugby Club, Winning a U/20 premiership than he later played 1st Grade for a number of season. Eventually moving back home James has been a consistent and valuable part of the Batemans Bay Boars team for a number of season reaching the milestone of 100 Club games.
