Construction of the bridge will begin early next year.

Improving access to one of the most beautiful holiday hotspots in NSW is at the top of the to-do list for the John Holland team working on the Batemans Bay Bridge replacement project. The final touches are currently being made to the design and the team has commenced early works this month. In addition to building the new four-lane bridge, the scope of works also involves removal of the existing bridge and upgrading the surrounding roads. One special aspect of the project is the Foreshore Advisory Committee that will guide community input into some features of the north and south foreshores. The committee have been selected and will meet next Monday night to begin the review.
