Batemans Bay 'Boars' Rugby Union

Saturday, 20th October saw Batemans Bay Rugby Club host the second round of the Brumbies Viva 7's Rugby for Youth girls and women's teams.
Organisers said of the event, "What a day!! Huge crowd on hand and although a few games were called off due to the lightning, the play was skilful and hard 💪
"Thanks to all the volunteers for all your efforts, couldn’t do it without you. 🙌
"U14s came 2nd after an unexpected loss. The team are very talented and will learn from the day. 👊
U16s came 2nd and went down in the final in what was a nail biter. Illawarra are a very organised representative team, and for our girls to match them is huge. 🤙🏽
"U18s were the surprise packet. First time together, and going undefeated and finishing first for the day 👌
"The women’s played 2 hard games against a barbarians team, and the enthusiasm and skill we hope will continue into the Wagga tournament where they will be a force.
"Go the Boars 🐗 !!!"
