Batemans Bay parkrun # 127 - 06/10/2018


What a fantastic morning at parkrun on Saturday! 57 runners and walkers! 12 first timers and a massive 13 personal best times. Congratulations to all who came and participated ! Congratulations also to the following parkrunners for improving their times: Mat Lambert Amanda McCormack Michael Lambert Mark Evans Victoria Hennig Mollie Kennedy Anna Hutchinson Sampson Kennedy Holly Talevich Lisa Talevich Robyn Kennedy Ann Johnsen Peter Johnsen Well done! A huge thank you to the Raine and Horne team who came with all the volunteers! It was a very special day. And it ran so smoothly! We hope other groups and businesses will join us and do the same in the future! Thanks Adam so much for encouraging your crew to join us and thanks to the crew for making the runners and walkers so comfortable! We are a very happy parkrun community!

Like to try parkrun? Parkrun promotes community, health and well being at your own pace whether you're wanting to beat a personal best or walk and admire the beautiful scenery. So, see you there next Saturday?

New runners, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join this friendly and free weekly event. We meet every Saturday morning at 7.50 am for the 8.00 am start. The venue is Rotary Park near the Marina roundabout on Beach Road in Batemans Bay. You can find out more about us and see lots of photographs on our Batemans Bay parkrun Facebook page. If you fancy parkrun, you need to register online at www.parkrun.com.au. You will be allocated a personal barcode which needs to be printed and brought to parkrun so that you get a recorded result as well as parkrun fun.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
