Batemans Bay Lions Golf Day raises $16,100 for Batemans Bay Hospital theatre trolley


On Sunday 1 st July 2018 Batemans Bay Lions Club held a successful Charity Golf event at Club Catalina organised by Lion Brian McClifty and sponsored by 78 local businesses. Monies raised went to Batemans Bay District Hospital for the purchase of specialised theatre trolleys that also allowed for Ophthalmology procedures. With approval of our application for a grant to Lions Clubs NSW-ACT Public Health Care Foundation, we were able to purchase two theatre trolleys at a cost of $16,100.00. On Friday 21th September, 2018 a cheque for $16,100.00 was presented to Batemans Bay District Hospital by Jackie Harding President of Batemans Bay Lions Club and Ken Mcleish, Lions Foundation Director.
