Batemans Bay parkrun # 124 - 15/09/2018

Congratulations to our park runners that scored themselves a PB time Saturday morning! Great going against the wind! Alec McQueen, Kayne Carmichael, Samantha Tibbles, Tony Dawe, Aiden O’Leary. Well done and well done to all the 45 walkers and runners that crossed the line on Saturday! Another lovely morning with friendly people. It's been sometime but we are excited to announce another 'Pacer Run' on the long weekend - 29th September. Members of the new Euro Coast Athletics Club are going to be our pacers. They'll be wearing signs showing the time they'll be doing their best to run to and hopefully helping some of our parkrunners reach a new milestone. Come and join the fun!

So this is why parkrun worldwide is special! Because people like John Graham from Victoria (below) make it that way! John has run every parkrun in Victoria. About 60 of them. He has done 107 runs all up! And each week he plans another. He has done Merimbula. Bega. And now headed further north to do Batemans Bay with us today! What a legend for parkrun he is!

Below: Well well well ! We nearly missed this one! 50 runs on Saturday! Congratulations to you Robyn Kennedy! Robyn is a huge part of our parkrun community. A regular volunteer as well as always offering encouragement to all our runners and walkers! Thanks Robyn !
