Quota Club of Batemans Bay news

Nine members of the Quota Club of Batemans Bay spent some hours on Tuesday morning sorting goods for the South East Women & Childrens Services.

They then travelled to Moruya to deliver three car loads of bed linen, towels and blankets and kitchen items to the office for the women & children who find themselves in difficult circumstances. The members of the Quota club also delivered groceries from their Winter Food Appeal that had been conducted at Malua Bay IGA. Carolyn Anderson said "We all agreed that this was a great way to support our local community and to have some good fellowship at the same time."

Next week, on 8th September the club members will be travelling to Goulburn to support Moruya High School member Stephanie Lunn as she represents their club in the regional final of the Student of the Year Quest. We are looking forward to hearing Stephanie present her speech and wish her well in the Quest.
