Yumaro soup supports Hope House

Hope House has welcomed a donation of $240 from Yumaro. The team at Yumaro held a soup Kitchen for Homelessness week which raised the $240. Hope House Manager Shirley Diskon says the work by the staff at Yumaro was very much appreciated by the team at Hope House. Mrs Diskon says the contribution by the Yumaro organization will help to continue the work that is assisting the residence of Hope House to assimilate back into the community. Shirley Diskon continued "The wonderful people at Yumaro held a soup kitchen fundraiser recently and raised $240 as a result of their efforts. "On Friday they came to donate the proceeds of their soup kitchen to us here at Hope House. Thankyou very much to Jay Steward who instigated the fundraising for the homeless idea after talking to a local homeless man and also to Heidi Jay who came up with the soup kitchen idea ably assisted by David Preston. We are very grateful for their kind donation."
