Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway at Batemans Bay Bridge between Sunday 19 and Tuesday 21 August for maintenance and servicing to be carried out on the bridge.
Maintenance will be carried out to ensure the reliable operation of the bridge opening. This is to minimise incidents with the lift system and reduce delays for motorists and marine traffic.
Work will be carried out at night to reduce the impact on motorists, across three nights between 8pm and 4am from Sunday 19 August, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to plan their journey, with delays of up to 15 minutes expected as testing takes place.
Motorists should plan their trip, allow extra travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
