Police Report: Malicious Damage By Fire To Forest Harvest Machinery


The rural crime investigator attached to the South Coast Police District are investigating the damage by fire to forest harvest machinery over the weekend.

About 5pm on Saturday 28 July 2018 the machine was located unattended when it was engulfed in flames at a logging stock pile site on Ironbark Range Road at CULLENDULLA just north of Batemans Bay. Rural Fire personnel were called to extinguish the machine.

Rural Crime Investigator’s said the machine was completely destroyed by fire and Police are treating the damage as suspicious. Police are calling upon anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800333000 or their local police station. This information can be given confidentially.
