Is Brown's Liberal endorsement a snub to Mike Kelly

Ex- Mayor and current Eurobodalla Councillor from Narooma, Lindsay Brown is throwing his support behind Member for Gilmore,Ann Sudmalis, in the lead up to the next Federal Election. "Ann Sudmalis, the hardest working local member we have federally," Lindsay Brown, Eurobodalla Shire. Of interest is that Lindsay Brown, a resident of Narooma is actually a voter in the Federal Seat of Eden Monaro and the Eurobodalla Council straddles both seats evenly with the border at Tuross Lake and as such is unable to personally vote for Ann Sudmalis. With Eden Monaro held by Mike Kelly of Labour it is assumed that Lindsay will now also be doing a strong endorsement video for his own local member, Mike Kelly, to show that Eurobodalla Council recognises Mike's efforts as well. And with the State election being held in March 2019 one has to ask "will long time Liberal party member Lindsay Brown also independently endorse Andrew Constance Member for Bega?" Will other Eurobodalla Councillors now step up to show their allegiances to Labor, the Greens or Independent candidates?

The Mayor's comment that "It really does show what good local members, working hand in hand with their community can deliver" was widely considered as poor form for failing to recognise that half of the Eurobodalla Shire is also the Federal seat of Eden Monaro and that there was no praise given to Labor Federal member Mike Kelly for his tireless work in bringing considerable Federal funding to his electorate.
