Between Sunday 15 April and Wednesday 18 April 2018, 17 cabins in a caravan park at Sunshine Bay were also allegedly broken into, with cash, jewellery, power tools and electrical items taken.

Crime scenes were established at both incidents and examined for forensic evidence.

Following inquiries, yesterday, detectives from South Coast Police District arrested a 16-year-old teenager at Batemans Bay Police Station.

He was subsequently charged several offences including:

- Break, enter and steal (x7);

- Attempt break, enter and steal (x6), and
