Sth Durras Easter Markets a great sucess

Another very successful market yesterday on Easter Saturday. In total we raised approx. $5,700 profit from the market (up from $4,600 last year) and another $6,138 (so far) from the sale of 215 pavers.

All this will be contributed towards the headland footpath project which we have committed to providing $15K. The breakdown of market fundraising was:

- Durrashire Teas and Homemade Icecreams - $1281

- BBQ stall - $1002

- Raffle - $967

- Stall hires - $600

- Cake stall - $556

- Fresh produce - $500

- Samosas - $321

- Dog treats etc. - $289

- Face Painting - $183

Thanks again to all who assisted with the market and came along to support!

A big thanks to the Market organising committee, especially chief organisers Moira Christie and Helen Tennant.

Pavers are still on sale until 1 June at $50. If you want to order a paver please contact Julie Mates direct: Durras Community Association Email: Facebook: Durras Community Association
