Results of the Rugby Union knockout at Hanging Rock


Hot conditions welcomed the teams competing in the Batemans Bay 15 a side Rugby Union knockout at Hanging Rock on Saturday, with running Rugby the order of the day. Batemans Bay played Kiama in the opener, and found themselves defending for most of the game, eventually losing 15 to nil. In their second game they played Jindabyne, and were in control for most of the game winning 20 to 5, and earning the title of repechage winners.

Kiama went on to win the tournament (below), defeating Gungahlin in a close final, 5 nil.


The Boars now turn their attention to the competition proper, which begins on Saturday 7th April at home v the Bungendore ‘Mudchooks’
