Launch of the February 2018 issue of 'Recollections' Jan 31st


The latest edition of 'Recollections' will launched on Wednesday January 31st, 10.30am at the Moruya Library - mark it in your diary. Peter Lacey, editor of 'Recollections' will be joined by Rob Lees, president of the Moruya District Historical Society launching the February 2018 issue of the popular and free magazine that is (once again) crammed full of interesting South Coast history, These 'launch' mornings are always most enjoyable and very stimulating and often one or two other interesting local historians join in to 'talk OUR history' Please phone Moruya Library on 4474 1333 to let them know you'll be attending to ensure you have a seat and some morning tea (come at 10.15am and grab a cuppa before things get underway).


The South Coast History Society is for anyone with an interest in the fascinating history of the NSW South Coast. Its aim is simply to share aspects of our intriguing history with as many others as possible.

The South Coast History Society: * Publishes a FREE magazine,' Recollections,' that tells some of the area's more interesting stories from our past. Copies are available on request to southcoasthistory@yahoo.com. * Presents regular talks and seminars about the NSW South Coast's history. * Encourages 'engagement' with the history of the NSW South Coast - through their facebook page, by supporting other history societies, museums, libraries, etc., and in a variety of other ways.
