Far South Coast LAC NSW Police Force release


BATEMANS BAY

Police have charged a 43 year old Catalina female with several offences following a malicious damage incident outside a residential property in Catalina at 3:45pm on Saturday 13 January 2018.

Police attended the female’s address at 9pm Monday 15 January 2018. It is alleged she attempted to bite and kick police during the arrest.

She was taken to Batemans Bay Police Station and charged with Malicious damage x 2, Resist arrest and Assault police. She was bail refused and will appear at Batemans Bay Court on 16 January 2018.

BEGA

A 33 year old Bega man has been charged with Possess prohibited drug after police seized a quantity of alleged cannabis at his home in Parker Avenue on 13 January 2018.

He will appear at Bega Local Court on 27 February 2018. MERIMBULA Merimbula Police have taken a report of malicious damage to an oyster punt in the Pambula Lake. Sometime between Wednesday 10 January and Monday 15 January 2018, unknown person/s have damaged the base of boat causing it to fill with water. Police are investigating.
