Batemans Bay parkrun # 83 - 02/12/2017

A great turn out for Saturday's run considering the ominous weather. Well done everyone. The weather was kind with the rain holding off until after our last walker was home. The humidity still proved a challenge for the runners and only 1 PB was achieved - congratulations to Rhys Flood. The Batemans Bay Parkrun welcomed quite a number of visitors and first timers to the Saturday morning run. And a big thank you to volunteers Louise Cox, Tracy Denning, Anna Hutchinson, Gail Legg, Debbie McCartney, Anthony Miles and Kim Young. Here's the link to the latest results: Charlie the penguin was at the run as part of a White Ribbon promotion. Charlie arrived and immediately acknowledge the pledge “Never to be violent against women.” He started to run however decided to walk up and down beach road spreading the word for all men to pledge:
