St Cecilia Youth Music Society finalists announced

Following a full weekend of auditions the President of the St Cecilia Youth Music Society, Mr Chris Heazlewood, is pleased to announce the finalists for this year.From Eurobodalla they are (in no particular order): Haley Chown (piano), Caitlin Douglass (piano), Luke Shooks (guitar), Johanna Eltherington (vocal), Tara Watts (piano) and Jack Gallen (guitar).

There are also five finalists from the Bega district and one from Bomaderry.

"The quality of music played by all the applicants this year was particularly outstanding", said Chris after the exhausting weekend. "Our experienced music judges from Canberra who assessed and gave helpful suggestions to each student had nothing but praise for all of the musicians".

The public can see and hear and congratulate all the finalists at the St Cecilia Annual Gala Concert on Sunday, November 26,when all the winners will be announced. Awards totaling $5700 will be presented.

The concert will be held at St Bernards Church in Batehaven at 3pm (please note earlier starting time) with tickets being sold at the door. For further information
