Repairs for Apex Park Narooma boat ramp

The boat ramp at Narooma’s Apex Park will be closed for up to four days next week when Eurobodalla Council gets to work repairing a broken slab at the base of the ramp.

The repairs follow a comprehensive consultation with the Marine Parks Authority to obtain a permit for the work.

Council’s work will see large rocks and geotechnical fabric installed around the base of the ramp to protect nearby sea grass beds from turbulence created by boat propellers.

Council is encouraging boaters to use boat ramps at Mill Bay, Narooma Bridge or at Wagonga Inlet while the work is underway.

Where practical, Council will keep one side of the ramp open outside of the 7am to 3pm construction hours. Signs will be in place.

The pontoon will remain open for the duration of the work Media Release
