A Sunday training course that included additional hours into last night saw NSW SES Batemans Bay Unit members continue their training to become Storms and Water Damage Operators.

This training includes how to safely walk on your roof to undertake temporary repairs and how to pump/redirect water in the event of severe weather.

Training continues next Tuesday night with an introduction to working with trees.
