BTP 'A Murder is Announced’ previews this Sunday July 2nd

1950s fashions will be very much in evidence when Bay Theatre Players’ latest production, A Murder is Announced’ previews this Sunday (July 2nd).

Above: Paige Davies and Aimee McQueen in 1950s fashions for BTP's 'A Murder is Announced'.

And, opening night, on Saturday, 8 July, will be a gala event with a light supper and a glass or two of sherry, to celebrate this very British play, based on the original ‘whodunnit’ Agatha Christie story.

But remember, there are only ten performances in all so come and get your tickets now from Bargain Box (4472 5984).

And, if the prospect of a ‘whodunnit’ isn’t enough to tempt you along, come and listen to the cool jazz of the 1950s which can be heard before and during the performance.

Director, Jack Helmore, who actually remembers the early 1950s (but only just!) believes that many audience members may well remember the tunes and experience the happy memories they bring back.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
