Eurobodalla Shire Council is running a weekly social badminton competition at the Hanging Rock Sports Stadium as part of its Live Life program.

It comes after the recent refurbishment and installation of three badminton courts at the stadium in Batemans Bay

Council’s Coordinator Recreation Development Ann Nicholson said everyone was welcome to join in, regardless of experience or skill level.

“We received requests from the community to run a social badminton competition, and with the recent refurbishment of the playing courts at the Hanging Rock Sports Stadium, we were able to incorporate three new badminton courts,” she said.

“All equipment will be supplied for the competition or you can bring your own racquet.”

Cost is $5 per session.

For more information, or to learn more about hiring the stadium including the badminton courts, phone Council’s Coordinator Recreation Development Ann Nicholson on 02 4474 7438.
