Clean Up Australia - Sth Durras Mar 5th

Sth Durras Clean Up Australia Day is this Sunday 5 March. Meet at the Blackboard at 9am. and bring your gloves! Durras Community Association is calling for volunteers to take part in the nation’s largest community-based environmental event on Sunday 5 March. Clean Up Australia Day inspires hundreds of Eurobodalla residents to take to our parks, beaches, bushland and streets to clean up the local environment on the first Sunday in March. Last year 305 Eurobodalla community volunteers and students from 12 local schools participated in the event, collecting about 68.5 cubic metres of rubbish at 49 sites. The most common items were cigarette butts, food wrappers and recyclable items such as drink containers.
