Woolies/Caltex to become Woolies/BP

British oil major BP is outlaying $1.8 billion to buy Woolworths' petrol stations, which will see it emerge as the nation wide market leader. The Caltex fuel supply to Woolworths will remain in place until BP takeover. It is being reported that Woolworths and BP will develop a fuel/convenience store called Metro at BP BP will buy Woolworths’ 527 fuel/convenience stores. There had been speculation that Caltex would buy out the Woolworths service stations. It is reported that the current Woolworths’ four cents per litre fuel discount offer and customer rewards programs will be maintained and also expanded to include selected BP stations. Woolworths / Caltex are in Ulladulla, Batemans Bay, Moruya, and Bega
