Botanic Garden 2017 calendar out now

Nature in photos

Following on from the wonderful photos of nature taken at the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens in early October a selection was made from the diversity of entries that continue to grow each year with beautiful images of plants, animals, landscapes, incredible fungi and even leeches! The popular photo competition and exhibition is now in its fourth year and has expanded this year with two new categories showcasing Trees, and A Place for All.

Visitors to the exhibition were encouraged to vote for their favourite images as part of the ‘People’s Choice Award’ sponsored by Eurobodalla Shire Council. . A range of photos from the competition have now been chosen to feature in the popular annual Gardens Calendar and the 2017 calendar

The calender was launched at the Photograph Competition Awards evening on 28 October 2016 in the Gardens Visitor Centre and is available for sale until sold out. Most photos of the calendar are taken by local artists, and all funds raised go back into the gardens to make it an even better attraction for tourists and locals alike.

Friends of Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens Annual General Meeting is to be held at 1.30pm Saturday, 5 November 2016 at the Gardens Visitors Centre Meeting. Come along and hear how this year's Committee has preformed and get involved in selection of the new Committee for 2017. It is an exciting time at the Gardens with the redevelopment of the Herbarium and Visitors Centre. So why not get involved... why not nominate to join the Committee.
