Mild Manic, Pretty People to play at Currents
Melbourne-based punk-rock band Mild Manic, along with top local bands Pretty People and Potent Soap, will take to the stage in all-ages gig in Moruya on Saturday 13 July. Five local high school bands will also battle it out for glory and the chance to record their tune in a professional music studio as part of a local song-writing competition at the event. South Coast Robotics Competition
On the 14 th June, Moruya High School hosted the South Coast RoboCup Competition. Teams from Ulladulla High and Narooma High played in 2 of the events on the day.
Event of Rescue, where the robot has to follow a line to get to rescue an item from a chemical spill.
The Winning Team was “Paw Patrol” from Ulladulla High School.

Batemans Bay Girls U14 Rugby team sit top of the ACT Junior Rugby ladder after 4 rounds with 3 wins and a narrow 4 point loss. The girls compete full contact games of 10-1-side games with scrums, line outs, tackles, tries and goal kicks.

Mentors are Ydrive’s driving force
Eurobodalla Council’s Ydrive program is changing lives but more mentors are needed to help some of the shire’s disadvantage youth get mobile.
