Who owns Bumbo Bridge? Not us says Council
The Bodalla community and Eurobodalla Council are coming to loggerheads over who is responsible for the Bumbo Bridge that is in need of repair. Council says it has no responsibility for it yet failed due diligence to prove it - they might like to read the following and reassess.
In the opinion of the State Government Roads and Maritime as per a GIPA request of October 2018 the road providing access to the bridge known as Bumbo Bridge is in the ownership of Council. From that

Bodalla School Fair: Sunday of the June Long Weekend
The 2019 Bodalla School Fair will be held at the Bodalla Public School on Sunday June 9, of the June long weekend. It runs from 8am til 12noon and there is plenty for all.
The Bodalla School Fair has been running for around 30 years now and is something the Bodalla Community looks forward to each year. Bodalla Dairy bring home 2019 awards
Congratulations to Bodalla Dairy who put up five entries in the 2019 Sydney Royal Cheese and Dairy Produce Show and won five awards
They entered two ice creams;
Kakadu Plum won a Silver and Hot Chocolate won a Bronze.
In the cheese category;
Gumleaf Smoked won a Silver and Saltbush won a Bronze.
Their Bodalla Dairy Living Milk won a Bronze.

CHANGED TRAFFIC Conditions On Princes Higway At Bodalla And Coila
Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway this week for maintenance work at Bodalla and Coila. Repair work to the road shoulder will be carried out at each location. Work in Bodalla will be carried out one kilometre north of Tuross River Bridge between 7am and 4pm on Tuesday 19 March and Wednesday 20 March. Closure of Belowra Road
Eurobodalla Council has closed Belowra Road, 13km west of Nerrigundah. A large tree is blocking the road and Council has engaged specialist contractors to remove it tomorrow morning, Thursday 31 January. Council expects to re-open the road on Thursday afternoon. #Bodalla

Bodalla Arms closes its doors
Locals travelling through Bodalla might have noticed the Bodalla Arms Hotel is now closed.
On closer observation a visitor will find a sign stapled to the door indicating that the Mortgageee is now in possession.
The sign says:
