Artisans Nest @ Bodalla update

There is a stirring going on at the Cottage in Bodalla as the days start to warm up a bit. Spring feels like it’s just around the corner, though we’ll probably get another blast of winter first.

Friday Fun mornings continue with a dedicated number of artists constantly experimenting with techniques. All welcome 10 – 12. Call Jane if you need info 0457024510.

We are currently looking for artists who are makers and have works they would like to display and sell at the Nest. We are basically a bunch of textile artists but we all have other feathers in our bows as well, so don’t be worried if your field is not textiles.

If you are interested in applying, I have attached 2 kinds of application forms, one in Word, one in pdf. If you would like to talk to someone personally about anything in the form, call Sue on 0408 634 237 or Mandira on 0429 402 472.

We are also offering our large workshop room for rent at $65 a day. This is a large room with verandahs on 2 sides and a toilet and kitchen, at the rear of Artisans Nest Gallery Shop. If you would like to rent this or discuss possibilities, please call any of the above numbers.

Workshops in the planning stages:

Fabric printing classes with Mandira

Felting workshop with Sue Jamison

There is also another Art and Craft materials Garage Sale in the pipeline. The last one was popular, so we’re going to do it again. Members will be selling off fabrics, unfinished works, accessories to various crafts, leather, wool, art materials etc etc. Come and bag a bargain & reboot your own projects.
