The Beagle Editor, I was horrified to read in my Weekend Australian that Batemans Bay is identified as a rival destination for NSW Schoolies to come to Eurobodalla instead of going to the Gold Coast. This council, in the middle of a pandemic, is inviting schoolies from all over NSW to congregate in Eurobodalla. Have they forgotten that we have a very large aged population and that we have no intensive care. We all saw what happened when two people infected with Covid-19 from Sydney came to Batemans Bay club. Where are the schoolies coming from and worse still where will they return to?
Does this council have no shame? We all know business is bad but this is ridiculous and reckless.
