Did you get to the Woodwork Show at Tilba over the recent long weekend .. No??

That’s a shame. You missed out on one of the best shows ever featuring fine pieces crafted from timbers from Tassy to W.A. and all parts in between. To wet your appetite for next year’s show, here are some examples of entries including the winning entry of a working model of a locomotive, with all components hand crafted from various timbers.

This entry was so impressive, it won both the Best in Show, and People’s Choice Award. John Tanner from the Eurobodalla Woodies Guild who crafted this amazing piece, is a fine woodworker who also specialises in wood turning.

So diarise the event for next year – June long weekend … don’t miss out again.
