The Beagle Editor, Looking to find information of where the evacuation centres are in the Eurobodalla I discovered the Eurobodalla Council's Emergency information webpage. At the top of its list for Emergencies was

For information about bush fires:

check the RFS Fires Near Me page for current incidents listen to local radio such as ABC South East on 103.5 FM or 810 AM check social media such as NSW RFS Facebook and NSW RFS Twitter There was nothing on evacuation centres but I found a link to the Local Disaster Plan (DISPLAN) (939.7 KB) The current Eurobodalla Shire Local Disaster Plan (DISPLAN) was written back in 2012 Search the word internet and nothing appears. It appears to written in 2009 (updated 2012) before the internet became the primary tool to communicate. Why hasn't this plan been updated in over seven years? Why haven't the community been told clearly about where their evacuation centres are.

Why isn't this information well known? If you look at the telephone numbers in the list below many of those named no longer fill those positions.

Who is in charge of this? The same person who forgot to update the Eurobodalla Bush Fire Plan? Not good enough by a long shot Name and address supplied
