What planet do the Eurobodalla General Manager and other senior management at our council reside on?

Dear Beagle Editor, Can you please tell me on what planet the Eurobodalla General Manager and other senior management at our council reside on? How, given the circumstances that this shire has and is continuing to confront with Bushfire and now Covid 19, do they find the audacity to put forward a ‘Delivery Plan’ asking this community to stump up an additional 2.6% rates increase, not to mention forging ahead with what is clearly going to be an unaffordable pool and entertainment centre in the Bay? This is by far one of the most cynical, greedy and thoughtless actions put forward to this community in living memory. Serving the community……pigs a$#@ Disgusted Ratepayer Name and address supplied

Above: Facing what many now believe will be a depression with massive unemployment the Eurobodalla Council is putting forward a 'business as usual' budget that will seek an average 2.6% increase in rates, water, sewer, fees and charges with no evidence of any belt tightening.
