Caving in to community pressure, following the decision to demolish our Olympic pool, Council has released it's first concept plan for a new Olympic pool based on this earlier design. What do you think?
Do you reckon we could attract regional/state and maybe even national competition to Batemans Bay?
Only problem is we could have trouble with lane marking, officials, seating etc.
Maybe Council should have left our Olympic pool alone along with the Mini Golf set to be also be smashed!
What a sad, sad day it will be when the bulldozers move in .... will we see photos of our beloved pool appear in history photos like this one and mourn its loss?
